Storyboard Text

  • Arab traders would come and set out their goods and prepare to silent barter.
  • Next, they would hide, beat a drum and wait for the Wangarans to come and see what they have to offer. The Wangarans will leave gold dust on the ground in return and leave.
  • The Arab traders will come back out and decide if their is enough gold dust to their goods. If so, they will take their gold dust and be on their way.
  • If the deal is unfair, the Arabs will beat the drum and hide again. The Wangarans would add more gold and go away.
  • They do this over and over again until the barter is fair.
  • After this process is done, both tribes will go away without ever speaking to each other.
