  • Strong leaders
  • It was in there hometown
  • Support from colonists
  • The Continental soldiers were always with a strong leader to help guide them.  This helps the soldiers become better at the war because of such good direction.
  • Food Shortage
  • This was in there town that they were living in. They were able to know where all the hills were all the places that the Army could hide in. They were able to use guerilla warfare which is what ended up helping them win the war.
  • Not enough space
  • Everyone back at home supporting the ones who were fighting. It was the army jobs to not let the colonists down. If they would have lost the colonists would have neen suffering.
  • News Problems
  • Since the beginning, there were problems with trying to get food to go to the continental army since no one supported it. Whatever they did have was not enough and if they needed things they had to pay for it with there own money.
  • The Continental Army did not have enough money for a certain number to be in bunks. 12 people would be staying in one place. While the higher up got to be living in a house. 
  • It took months for news to travel bacm amd forth. Since at the time there were only ships it would two months for the ship to even go to get any news. When the people sailed back it was already 2 months later.
