Storyboard Text

  • The daily life as a Civil War soldier was filled with hunger, fighting, boredom, bad clothing, and harsh weather.
  • Every day, soldiers had to do drills to enhance their skills and help them bond as a team. If they didn't, they would likely get killed in combat.
  • LETS*breathes* GO*breathes*, SOLDIERS! *breathes heavily*
  • If they weren't busy doing  drills, they would be either washing pans, making food, fixing torn or damaged clothes, cleaning equipment, or , in some cases, dying from boredom.
  • Hey Joey, can you make me one?
  • Make one by yourself, Steph.
  • Every night, when soldiers slept, they would assign people to guard during the night, which made the people tired throughout the day.
  • Soldiers also died by viruses and infections from untouched wounds.
  • Help me, doctor! My entire body hurts and aches!
  • This poor man has caught a virus. I don't know if he will live or die.
  • I forgot to put this fact in the first slide, but I didn't think about this then. The fact was that the age ranges of a soldier were mostly likely from 18 to 25 years old. Though most soldiers died before they were 25, or shortly after.
