  • Babylonian was an ancient Akkadian-speaking state and cutural area based in central southern Mesopotamia.

  • The Assyrian Empire, was a major semitic speaking Mesopotaimian kingdom and empire of the ancient Near East and the Levant.

  • The Neo-Babylonian empire was a period of Mesopotamian history which began in 626 B.C and ended in 539 B.C.
