Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • I volunteer as tribute!
  • Rising Action
  • Climax
  • The Hunger Games starts off with Katniss volunteering for her sister Prim. She volunteers and Peeta Mellark is chosen as the male tribute. She trains and trains and gets an 11 in training scores.
  • Falling Action
  • The Hunger Games actually starts. Going through it she has to kill a couple people and make sacrifices. She survives,  getting her and her district partner, Peeta, to the end of the Hunger Games
  • Resolution
  • There was a rule change letting 2 people from the same distract win. The rule was changed at the last second, letting only one person. They both threaten a double suicide, so The Capitol has no winner, but the Capitol lets both of them win. They both go back to The Capitol and they both win.
  • Theme
  • The Capitol is very upset with Katniss because she sparked hope within the districts. This creates Katniss The Mockingjay, a rebel leader of The Capitol. The Capitol wants no one to have hope or rebel.
  • They get to go home. Peeta asks if she actually liked him. Katniss tells Peeta that she didn't like him and everything was for the cameras so they put on a mask for the last time the hold hands.
  • I believe a possible theme for The Hunger Games is survival. Katniss has to survive through everything. her life, The Hunger Games, her love life.
