Will you be partners with Sarah?
Karrah and Carly were best friends, they were next door neighbors, they were bus buddies, always partners, and they sat by each other at lunch every single day.
One day at school, the science teacher, Ms.Smith, pulled Karrah aside before class. She asked her if she would be partners with the new girl named Sarrah in science today. Being polite Karrah said yes knowing that Carly might be upset with her.
Carly of course didn't know that this had happened and thought that Karrah was just purposely ignoring her. So, at lunch she didn't talk to Karrah. That night Karrah was super busy with homework and forgot to send Carly her goodnight text. This made Carly even more furious, and she decided that she wasn't going to invite Karrah to her birthday party on Saturday.
That Saturday Carly had her birthday party, secretly she missed Karrah but then remembered what she did to her. Karrah saw pictures of the party posted on social media and got so upset. She thought to herself what could she had done to make Carly not invite her?
The following Monday at school Karrah and Carly didn't talk to each other at all. Finally, the next day at lunch Karrah had had enough and she asked Carly why she didn't invite her! And Carly responded with well you weren't my partner in Science and you didn't even text me! Then the bell rang not leaving Karrah any time to explain.
Their next class was Science since it was Tuesday, and their teacher called out,"Karrah I forgot to tell you thank you for being partners with Sarrah on Thursday!" Whenever Carly heard this she felt terrible! Immediately she walked over to Karrah and apologized for not inviting her to her party and for not talking to her. Then Karrah apologized for not communicating with Carly, and they were back to being best friends again!
