The Legislative Branch consists of Congress. Wich consists of The House of Representatives and the Senate, They both make up laws.
The Executive Branch Consists of The President, The Vice President, and the President's cabinet. The Executive Branches job is to pass laws that Congress or the Legislative Branch makes.
The President can also veto a bill if he or she doesn't like it.

The Judicial Branch consists of the Supreme court and checks the laws that the President passes, that Congress makes.
The Judicial Branch has the power to deem a bill un-constitutional, and it doesn't become a law.
