When I first met Fredrick we were at an abolitionist movement meeting.
During the time that we met Fredrick was writing his first biography of many. This one being Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, an American Slave, the most famous one that he has ever written.
When I read it, it really showed how white slaveholders immortalize slavery by keeping their slaves unaware. I told Fredrick that it was inspirational and will be well known in the future.
Douglass became very involved in the movement of women's rights which made me very pleased.
Fredrick would send me letters when he traveled telling me about how he met many wonderful people and saw many amazing things.
Fredrick wrote in his letter that he met Daniel O'Connell an Irish nationalist who was great to talk to.
