  • I, as pharaoh, made my people make me a pyramid, for my after life.
  • Government Officials
  • My favorite thing to do is throw a banquet, because I'm rich.
  • Priests
  • I just finished mummifying my pharaoh, it was a long process, about 70 days
  • The pharaoh was at the top of the social pyramid in ancient Egypt. The pharaoh oversaw Egypt, and they also collected the taxes. 
  • Scribes
  • I memorized 700 hieroglyphics when I was only five years old.
  • Government Officials are second of the social pyramid in ancient Egypt, and they were the pharaohs advisers. They had big homes, fancy clothing, jewelry, and perfume. In there free time they usually threw Banquets. 
  • Artisans
  • I made the fabric on this bed, I couldn't make the rest because I am female
  • Priests are are third of the the social pyramid in ancient Egypt, and they advised the pharaoh, oversaw temples, and did mummification. They did not eat fish, had no body hair, wore linen clothing only, and they clean in pool four times a day. 
  • Peasants
  • Scribes are fourth of the social pyramid in ancient Egypt, and they were men from artisan and merchant family. They went to scribe school at the age of 5 from dawn to dust. They had to memorize 700 hieroglyphics, and if they were not doing well they would get beaten. 
  • Artisans are fifth of the social pyramid in ancient Egypt, and they were carpenters, jewelers, leather workers, metalworkers, painters, potters, sculptors, and weavers. They had homes with three rooms, worked for ten days then had a weekend, and got their homes from employers.
  • Peasants are last of the social pyramid in ancient Egypt, they are the unskilled labors, have the largest class, and are usually farmers and builders. They have the smallest houses with no furniture, eat fish and vegetables, and pay food as taxes. 
  • I just woke up, but can't stop working until it'snight time.
