  • The German soldiers wanted to have a truce on Christmas and New Years Day with the British and French, but  Some of the lieutenants or soldiers on the other side were tired and didn't want to shoot, so they both agreed to have a truce on Christmas day and New Years Day.

  • Universal Question: Why didn´t The Germans made a truce with the British and French that would last forever  rather than a short period of time?
