  • An example of person vs society in "To Kill a Mockingbird" would be when Atticus agreed to defend Tom Robinson. Many members of Maycomb find that Atticus should not defend Tom because he is black. 
  • Ms. Maudie is standing here in front of her house, sad because her house caught on fire. This is an example of person vs nature because nature has occurred Ms. Maudie's house to catch on fire.  
  • Mayella tricks Tom Robinson into needing help with something in her home. However, because Mayella only actually wanted someone to talk to, she tricked him into needing help and eventually kissed him.
