  • Monarchy is when a king or queen rules over your country. There are two types of monarchy, absolute and constitutional monarchy. England is an example of a country with monarchy.
  • Communism
  • A democracy is where people vote and can elect the government of their country. The two types of democracy, direct and representative democracy. New Zealand and lots of other countries have a democracy.
  • Oligarchy
  • Dictatorship is when one person controls over the whole country and its people for years and years. Uganda was once in a dictatorship and today North Korea is a country that is currently run by a dictator.
  • Anarchy
  • Communism is where no matter what job or work you have, you will earn the same amount of money as everyone else. For example, a cleaner and a doctor earn the same, this exists in China.
  • Oligarchy is when a small group of people have control over a country or organization. There are many groups of oligarchy in Turkey.
  • A society or country that has complete freedom from absence of government. Anarchy did exist in the past in lots ofdifferent countries even South Africa. Currently there are no countries in this situation.
