  • Marathon Battle
  • Where have you Greeks been? We have waited here at Marathon to start out battle for three days!!!
  •  Can't you see?, this was our great plan, you Persians are so mindless and now we have attacked your military off guard!
  • King Xerxes of Persia wants revenge
  • We have come to Greece because we are going to get our revenge against the Athenians!!
  • Preparing for the Battle of Thermopylae
  • I am brining 7,000 of you soldiers so we can defeat the Persians. We are going to cut off their army's supplies and stop them from coming to Athens 
  • Yes sir!
  • After the Persians waited 3 days at Marathon for the Greeks they started to pack up their ships. But then the Athenians caught the Persians off guard and attacked their military and won the Battle of Marathon
  • Battle of Thermopylae 
  • Hey! Follow me I'll show you where they are
  • King Xerxes of Persia has come to Greece to get revenge against the Athenians. He brought 200,000 troops to hopefully defeat the Athenians. Meanwhile, the Greeks city-states came together to defeat the Persians, the most soldiers are supplied in Sparta. Themistocles is the leader of Athens and made a battle plan and controlled over their naval forces.
  • Battle of Salamis 
  •  The leader of Sparta, King Leonidas has a military of 7,000 soldiers to defeat the Persians. His plan is to cut off the Persians army's supplies and prevent the Persians from leading into Athens too hopefully defeat them
  • Battle of Plataea
  • We shall have peace for once and for all
  • At the Battle of Thermopylae the Persians defeated the Spartans. A traitor from the Greeks showed the Persians where the Greeks were. KIng Leonidas dismissed the rest of his troops and kept the top 300 men to keep on fighting the Persians until the end. But the Persians won and the Greeks sadly lost the Battle of Thermopylae.
  • Haha! Ok show us the way
  • The king of Athens ,Themistocles made a plan to attack Persia's ships. The Athenians lured the Persians into a narrow sea between two landmasses. Persia's ships were too big and got stuck in the strait while the Athenians ships were small enough to move around in the strait, the Athenians trapped the Persians and sunk 300 ships and won the Battle of Salamis
  • The Greek city-states came together and formed the largest army. The Persians and the Greeks fought at the Battle of Plataea. On both sides there are 100,000 soldiers, The Persian army was defeated by the Greeks. The Persians no longer have control over the Greek city-states and they now they have found peace with each other.
