- About 2500 years ago, a very special baby, named Siddhartha Gotama also known as the Buddha was born in a town called Lumbini, in India, near Nepal.

- Before and after his birth, there were signs that he will be very special and important. Also, his mother, Queen Maya had a very unique dream that the Buddha will be a very important person one day. Because his father, the King didn't want Siddhartha to suffer, so he decided to make him live in a luxury place for his life. Because of that he cant have everything he wanted.
- One day, the prince went out to hunt with his charioteer, Channa. He first saw an old man, he was really shock that people will turn old, so Channa told him that aging will happen to all beings. After a while, he saw a sick person suffering from a disease, Siddhartha was very confused why that person is in pain, so then Channa explained to him. A few moment later, a person sadly died, Siddhartha was very very surprised, he thought the person was sleeping with all crowds and the noises.
- When he went back to his place, he found out that his wife gave birth to a baby. He was sad and unhappy in his mind, he decided that he must leave home for a quest for enlightenment, so he could think about life. He was sorrowful but he knew it was for the best.
- Time went by very quickly, Siddartha then lived as a Holy man. He had close to nothing, he didn't have clothes, money and not enough food. He even felt like he was going to die. He gave it up and decided that between extreme luxury and extreme poverty (middle way) was the best. No matter what, he did not give up on his search, instead he sat under a Bodhi tree and meditated to find the truth.
- Sitting under the tree, he faced many temptations sent by Mara- the force of evil. When morning came by, he woke up and he saw things in a brand new and positive way, he became enlightened and even became the supreme Buddha.
