  • Hector led a charge toward the Greek camp and they tried to break through the gates,but the Greeks were resisting.
  • Zeus sided with the Trojans, so he made Hector super strong and he was able to throw a large boulder through the gate.
  • Zeus was happy with how it turned out so he left. However, Poseidon felt bad for the Greeks and came on shore to help and build up the warriors’ hearts.
  • Ajax, the strongest and tallest of the Greeks, and Hector met and Ajax threw a big rock at him, but Apollo healed Hector and gave him renewed strength in battle.
  • Hector tore chariots through the Greek lines all the way down to their ships.
  • Hector and his men burned the Greeks ships.
