In 1850 she saw men passing ,when my mother and myself were making tea.Her mother told her that they were the men going to vote at the polls.Ester asked her mother if she ever voted,she said no. Ester wondered why women couldnt vote from her mothers response.
When her mother passed away,Ester's father gave each child the same responsibitlity to take care of eachother.Ester had determination to do what people told her she couldnt do.
All women got rights to vote in 1869,all thanks to Ester Mcuigg.She was one of the thousnads Wyoming Women going to vote a year later.She had believed in herself and she was succesful!
