Hey Josh, how is it going?
Oh really, what is that? I am always looking for new things to spend time on!
I am doing well Molly, I just found a really cool website on my phone!
That sounds so interesting, what are some ways I can learn about this project?
IEEE Reach is a project that seeks to eliminate the stigma that technology and history are mutually exclusive objects!
IEEE has a collection of Primary and Multimedia sources that connect technological inventions to history. These sources can be used by teachers to further the education of a technology rich generation, like ourselves!
We should show this to Mr. Jenkins! This could connect with us more than his usually boring lectures!
That is a great idea Molly! I would love to know the historical context behind this cell phone that I use daily today!
Thanks Josh! Other teachers could use IEEE Reach as well to examine technology and history in different areas, such as Science!
HAHA! Good one Josh!
Are we even sure Mr. Jenkins know how to use a phone?
