The struggle of freedom

Storyboard Text

  • My life is controlled by my mother
  • No mom. I don't want to.
  • You better go to sleep now
  • I cannot wear what I want
  • But I like it.
  • Ok mom I'll change it now.
  • How can you hang out with that clothes on? Your dress is too short.
  • Talk
  • Before you go, I wanna talk to you first.
  • I want to know what kind of friends do you have, so just take them to our house.
  • Ok mom
  • Everyday, my mom just goes to my room and tells me to sleep, even though she knows that I will say no.
  • My friends meet my mom
  • Hi. You guys are so cute.
  • I'm about to hang out with my friends, but my mom does not want me to wear that dress.
  • I cannot even choose the people who I want to hang out with
  • How can you play with them? Their hair styles and clothes are really weird.
  • She wants to talk to me before I go out and I actually know what she will talk.
  • Ending
  • My answer is I still choose my friends because I know who they are. Actually I already knew my mom won't like my friends if show them to her. But I still let my mom know the people that I play with because I don't want to make her worry about me.
  • I introduce my friends to my mom. She is really nice to them.
  • They are my friends.
  • Then she wants to talk with me privately. She says she does not like them just because of their appearances. I know that will happen because she always acts like that when I show her my friends.
  • I know you will say that. It always happens.
  • It always happens in my life.
