  • The supreme court had to review the case because of segregated schools, as well as public restrooms and transportation, drinking fountains and restaurants.
  • The court established this law in the court and was then decided that the segregation of public schools was a violation of the 14th amendment and soon became unconstitutional.
  • African Americans were and misjudged for multiple reasons. They were treated unfairly in most places and thought that they didn’t have the right to be in the same places as other people other than their own race were to be.
