  • Characterization Katniss can be characterized as a selfish person. She never accepted any of Gail's plans and didn't appreciate him until he was beaten within an inch of his life.

  • Imagery Katniss shot an arrow at the arena that was tied to a tree just as lightning struck the tree, and destroyed the arena.
