On return from a battle and a win, Macbeth and his friend came across 3 witches who predicted his future. They said he would be promoted and become King one day. Seconds later he received a call from the King saying just that.
When Lady Macbeth found put about the witches and their predictions, she wanted Macbeth to become King so she could become Queen. She devised a plan to kill King Duncan. At first Macbeth wasn't on board but with convincing, Macbeth was ready to kill.
That night, whilst King Duncan was sleeping in their house, Macbeth and Lady Macbeth got the guards drunk so Macbeth could sneak in to kill King Duncan.
The next morning, when King Duncan was found dead, Macbeth killed the guards and said he killed them because they killed the King. Malcom, the son of the King was frightened for his life so he ran away to England. Macbeth's friends started to become suspicious about everything so Macbeth hired murders to kill all his friends and families.
At a dinner, Macbeth started to see the ghost of Banquo, his murdered friend. Nobody else can see it and he starts to act strange in front of his guests. Lady Macbeth is tortured by the guilt of King Duncan's death and starts to sleep walk and imagine blood all over her hands. Macbeth sees the witches again and they tell him he is safe until the forest moves.
Lady Macbeth goes mad and kills herself. Malcom, the song of King Duncan organises an army to invade Scotland to punish Macbeth for killing his Father. The army attack, using branches of trees to protect themselves. Macbeth awaits for their arrival, thinking he is safe due to the witches prediction but dies in the battle with his head chopped off. Malcom becomes the new King.
