  • Hey Eddie, did you see how the Jacksonian democracy was always used for the advantages of white men and it was a genuine democratic movement?
  • Yes but, Andrew Jackson had condensed disrespect for the old republican advantage, with its respect and its care for popular democracy. Andrew Jackson had brought corruption and depotism which does not make him a good person for him to be on the $20 bill.

  • No Lucy I do not, Andrew Jackson had replaced important government officials with his supporters. He though that replacing government officials with supporters would strengthen his political party.

  • Well, he released a declaration to the people of South Carolina which argues the states' rights to revoke a federal law.

  • Overall, Andrew Jackson thought terrible things during the Bank War. Jackson hated the National Bank and ruined the Second Bank of the United States which was known as the Bank War. He believed the Bank preferred rich people. Andrew Jackson was scared of the growth of eastern business interests. He believed the bank was the devil and should not be wealthy. From these facts you may conclude that Andrew Jackson should be on the $20 dollar bill.

  • Indian Removal Act- the law authorized the president to negotiate with souther Native Americans tribes for their removal to federal territory west of the Mississippi River in exchange for white settlement of their ancestral lands.

  • States' Rights- the rights and powers held by individual Unites States rather than by the federal government. The tariff of Abominations lead to the South Carolina threatening to secede.

Economic warfare includes the use of economic means to compel an adversary to change its policies or behavior or to undermine its ability to conduct normal relations with other countries
