King Minos and the King of Athens made a deal that if the King of Athens sent over 7 girls and 7 boys to be eaten by the Minotaur, King Minos would not attack Athens for 9 years.
The King of Athens was getting a ship ready for the 7 boys and 7 girls, including his son, to sail on on their way. Every one in Athens was crying because they were loosing 7 boys and girls from their island.
King Minos greeted the boys and girls and introduced them to Princess Ariadne. She did not say a word, but she wrote a note to prince Theseus at night. He took the note and waited for her patiently by the gate, she gave him a ball of yarn to find his way out of the maze after he killed the Minotaur.
Prince Theseus walked through the maze to the Minotaur, using the plan that princess Ariadne had set up, with yarn. Once he got to the Minotaur, he would kill him, then prince Theseus, princess Ariadne, and the rest of the boys and girls could escape.
After prince Theseus killed the Minotaur, prince Theseus, princess Ariadne, and the boys and girls escaped from the island to go to another island to repair the boat.
After the prince repaired the boat with the children, the princess fell asleep and they admired her beauty. Next, they left her stranded on the island. After all, that was what she wanted. Well, the admiring her beauty part.
