- I got a good chance bein' let off easy, since it was self defense. Besides it ain't fair for Ponyboy.
- We're goin' back and turn ourselves in.

- Johnny, I ain't mad at you. I just don't want you to get hurt.

- Johnny explained to Dally that he wants to turn him self in. Dally tells him that if he did that they would probably get it hard since they are greasers.
- For Pete's sake, get outa there.
- Shut up! We're goin' to get you out!

- Dally then tells Johnny that going to jail only for a few months can make you like him. Ponyboy then thinks for himself that Dally never talks like that since he usually thinks about him self always.

- They are behind us. What are you kids, professional heroes or something.
- Johnny, Dally, and Ponyboy sees that there is a fire in the church so Pony and Johnny went running in there so they can help them get the rest of the children out their.

- Johnny yells at the kid so he can stay quiet so they can get them out. As they are getting the kids out, Dally yells at them telling them that they should leave the kids their and they get out. But they ignore him while they get the last few out.
- Pony wakes up from the fire and then ask where is Johnny and Dally. The man told him that they are in the other ambulance. He then ask who are they and Pony responds by saying that they are Greasers. He was surprised but for a moment.
- The man told Pony that his brothers came to see him. Pony goes to give Soda a hug. Then noticed that Darry was with him and hugged him too. Pony then realize that Darry really was worried about him since he was crying.
