  • amendment 1: The first amendment gives someone the freedom of Religion, Speech, protest, and freedom of assembly/petition. This amendment gives everyone to practice what they preach without being insulated or punished by it and gives everyone the right to speak freely in what they believe in.
  • Amendment 9: The ninth amendment are rights kept by the people. This means that this amendment protects the rights people have even though they are not in the constitution. This includes marriage/children, education, travel, and safety.
  • By safety and family are protected even if its not on paper
  • Amendment 10: The tenth amendment are powers kept by states and the people. This means that certain states have laws that they get to decide own their own. This includes drinking age, marijuana usage, tax laws
