Storyboard Text

  • The Birth of Fire By Sitali Santamaria
  • Some gods made friends with humans. One of them were Prometheus, he made friends with humans too.
  • The first people that the gods created lived happily. "They thought the gods were wonderful," but the children weren't as grateful. The children argued and argued with the gods.
  • GIVE IT BACK!
  • I should not give them the most important tool, fire.
  • Zeus was very disappointed at mankind. He decided not to give them the most important tool which is fire. So humans won't live as long.
  • I am so disappointed of these people
  • GIVE IT BACK!
  • Prometheus felt sorry for the people. "Prometheus stole a lightning bolt from Zeus and gave it to mankind." That's when man discovered fire.
  • I am stealing a lightning bolt from Zeus
  • When Zeus found out that his lightning bolt was missing, Zeus was furious. He punished Prometheus by chaining him to a rock. Zeus sent a storm, made the sun shine really brightly to burn his skin and sent an eagle to nibble at Prometheus' body.
  • You stole my lightning bolt and this will be your punishment!
  • Hercules helped Prometheus get out of those chains. When Hercules saved him, nearly a thousand years passed. "Humans had changed a great deal over 1000 years." After, Zeus found humans entertaining, he didn't care if Prometheus saved humans or not.
  • Thank you!
  • No problem
