Once upon a time, there was a mother who lived in a modest cottage in the hamlet with her daughter Pina. They were poor, and the mother worked 24 hours a day, seven days a week to make ends meet. Her daughter was never willing to assist her.
One day her mother fell quite unwell. She shouted out to Pina, who was playing in the backyard as usual, to get her lunch.
Pina reluctantly paused her game and entered the house. She entered her mother's room and stuck her head inside.
Pina didn't follow her mother's instructions since she couldn't find the ladle. Her mother sobbed uncontrollably.
"I wish you'd grow a thousand eyeballs all over your head!" she exclaimed. Then you'll be able to find what you're seeking for." There is full stillness after she says this, and when she recovers, she searches for her daughter.
She recalls seeing a strange plant with a lot of eyes one day and saying something. Since then, she has given the plant the name Pina, which has evolved into Pinya. That's how the pineapple arrived.
