Introducing a bill- An idea becomes a bill and it's brought into the senate. The person who introduces the bill is called a primary sponsor.
Committee action- Bills are gone over, some die in the senate if deemed unnecessary.
Rules committee- Sets conditions for the debate and the floor
Floor action- The bill is either passed or denied. The bill needs to pass with a 50.1% vote or higher. If denied then sent back to the committee to make revisions.
Introduced into the senate- After the bill is passed it's voted in at the senate. The votes are done by voice.
