The scene above is my thought on how Lysander and Hermia will react when they are not granted marriage rights and Hermia is to be married to Demetrius. They are in front of the Dutch and Duchess, with the Dutch telling them to forget their idea and that Hermia has to listen to her father or she will become a maid, live on the streets, or even experience death.
Theseus and Hippolyta are talking about their wedding. Lysander and Hermia are in love and they decided to run away together and get married the next night. They have decided to tell Helena their plan. Helena loves Demetrius, however Demetrius is in love with Hermia. Because of this, Helena has decided to find Demetrius and tell him about Lysander and Hermia's plan to be eloped.
A group of amateur actors has decided to meet at the residence of Peter Quince, who is their director. They are preparing some sort of entertainment for the wedding and celebrations of Theseus and Hippolyta's elopement. Peter Quince has assigned parts to all the actors and the actors agreed to meet in the woods the following evening to rehearse for their play.
