  • Showing how much of a devastating time it was, and people were suffering. Had no money, they were forced to go on unemployment. The only ones to have Money were the Americans because they didn't take damage because they over powered their enemies.
  • A unified plan for western European economic reconstruction presented by a committee representing 16 countries.
  • Railroads and all transportation ways were all damaged. Had no money to fix them. Everything was gone, but the U.S. came into help them out.
  • The Marshall plan was somewhat of a success because they were able to increase their product by 15-20% of chemicals, product
  • Despite the significant investment on the part of the United States, the funds provided under the Marshall Plan accounted for less than 3 percent of the combined national incomes of the countries that received them. This led to the relatively modest growth of GDP in these countries during the four-year period the plan was in effect.
  • Some countries had alliances with other countries, this would keep them safe from other bad enemies. Also, would keep their people safe
