Dr. Frankenstein is being chased by his monster near the North Pole across a large sheet of ice. On a boat suspended by ice Robert Walton, the narrator witnesses Victor being chased and trying to be killed by the monster Victor had created until the monster sees the boat and flees from being caught and Victor is saved for now...
Victor's mother, and his sister had been ill with Scarlet Fever and had died. Victor and Elizabeth are both devastated by the news. Victor met Elizabeth when she was adopted into his family. All his life he had grown to love Elizabeth. The last words Victor's mother spoke were that Victor to marry Elizabeth.
Through the passing of his sister and mother it has drove Victor into a deep sense of alienation. Due to such loneliness Victor studied deeply about the dark occults and anatomy to find out how life exists and how life is created.
After Victor's studies he became obsessed with creating a being of life. Using his knowledge and electricity he had created his monster of creation. He was astonished with what he had created but had soon realized after that the being he created was a disgusting monster that he couldn't destroy an that was hungry for vengeance for Victor's family and murders many members because of how ugly Victor created him.
As time passed Frankenstein was seeking his revenge on Victor. One night when Victor saw his monster the monster had warned Victor that the night of his wedding he would kill him. After this conversation happened Victor held off on the wedding but eventually Victor held his wedding. During the wedding the monster strangled Victor's wife Elizabeth to make him suffer for what he did by creating the monster so hideous.
Months after Victor's monster murdered Elizabeth the monster has been chasing Victor all throughout the world trying to murder him. The monster finally finds Victor in the North Pole, Victor continues to run away until he finds a boat stranded on the ice for safety. Robert Walton, one of the men on the boat helps him get away from the monster and Victor tells Walton his story of the monster. Years later once Victor passes he asks Walton to continue his journey and put the monster down once and for all.
