The British, after having a wholesome feast in the capitol itself, burn down the Capitol along with many other buildings. Thankfully, the fire didn't put whole building to ashes; just the top middle section got burnt away.

Nationalism increased amongst the people nationwide. They felt proud of the U.S for still standing up and pushing through the struggles they faced.
Native American Resistance Weakened
The British aided the Natives with weapons for defence and attack. They created an alliance together in hopes of fighting of the Americans since neither of them were on good terms with them.

In the battle of Thames, the British got support from the Native Americans against William Henry Harrison and his army, but were still defeated by the rebellious Americans. This battle also marked the death of Tecumseh, the leader of the Shawnee tribe who brought the Natives together to help Britain.

With the death of the Chief who brought the Natives together, the base of the Natives at that point began to collapse as their resistance was weakened.
We aren't as powerful as before without Tecumseh!
