- The Mongols lived in the Steppe of Central Asia, they had alot of drought and diseases . Some tribes of the Shiwei and Menggu lived before the Mongols.
- Genghis Khan (Temujin) the Mongol leader, spent most of his early decades/years defeating groups one by one and gaining more land. He considered personal loyalty the best way to grow his kingdom and was a ruthless leader.
- Genghis Khans oldest grandson took 100,000 soldiers into Russia. He would conquer small kingdoms and force them to pay tributes. His army's name was Golden Horde and they continued to push westward.
- Genghis Khans grandson Kublai Khan had his mind set on China, China was a very good oponent not like the others they had faced in the past. They spent a total of 36 years until they finally defeated the Chinese.
- I will end up defeating you eventually even if it takes me 36 years.
- Marco Polo had been in service for Kublai Khan for more than two decades. Marco arrived as a foreigner but with the help of Kublai he became a member of the Chinese society.
- We have tried to conquer many diffrent countries such as Japan, Burma, ect and have failed at doing all of them.
- With all of these defeats it showed to the chinese population that the Mongols were not as strong as once before. Then the Secret White Loutus Society began to quietly organize a end to the Yuan Dynasty.The Golden Horde had lost the territories and the Centeral Asia territories had been conqured by Tamerlane.
- We have reached the limit on Mongol expansio to the west and we have faled to expand to CHina.
