There was an old man with a white eye. Edgar Allen Poe loved the man but his eye just made "his blood run cold."
So Poe decided to do something about the mans eye. Every night he would weight in the mans bedroom door way and weighted for the old mans eye to open so then he could get rid of it. "I might not disturb the old mans sleep."
Poe makes a noise that awakes the old man and the old man wakes up and is super scared so he screams. Poe attacked the Old man, he turned the mattress over the man and suffocated him. " I dragged him to the ground and pulled the heavy bed over him."
The narrator took the mans body and cut him up in the bath tub so that there was no sign of murder. He was so confident that he would not get caught. His plan was to take the floor boards out where he killed the man and put his limbs under the floor boards so " that no human eye could see his crime."
"I could here the heart beat of the old man." The narrator believes he can still hear e mans heart beat. So he and gives himself up he took the blame for what he did.
The narrator is unreliable because in the beginning of the story he states that "He is not crazy he just has special abilities. He is clearly crazy because he killed someone.
