  • The Boston Massacre was a fight in the street in Boston. There was one british soldier getting surrounded by a bunch of colonists. The crowd got bigger, there were about 100 colonists and only 8 british soldiers, the colonists started throwing rocks, snow balls and even clubs. The british soldiers warned them to stop but the colonists did not care they were calling them “Lobsterbacks” and also taunting them to shoot. Then it happened one of the british soldiers shot, there were five dead and 3 injured. This is one reason we led to the American Revolution.
  • The Boston tea party, December 6 1773, the british cargoed tea over to Boston because that was the only thing taxed. American colonists were mad because Britain denied “Taxation without Representation”. So the American colonists were like “ok” when the tea arrived at Boston a bunch of American colonists ran onto the boat, got the tea and threw it overboard. This was important because it fueled tensions between Britain and America.
  • The Proclamation of 1763 was made after the French and Indian War. This law was made because the colonist wanted there own land and not be controlled by the British. The British not want the colonist to go out West because they didn't not want to start another war because the were broke from the French an Indian War.
