- Steve is rebuilding a roof and will need to use trigonometry to do it.
- Steve wants to add a room in the attic. He wants to put two windows in the front. He needs to know the area of one side of the wall. He measures the width 10ft, the height 6ft, and he knows the angle is 90 degrees. By using trigonometry Steve finds the area to be 30ft^2.

- Steve has his blueprints out but he doesn't know the arch angle. He knows the sides are 20ft, 12ft, 10ft. By using trigonometry Steve found the angle to be 130 degrees.

- Steve is building a support for the roof framing. He needs to know how big to make it. He knows one side length and two angles. He uses the law of sines to figure out the bottom length. By using trigonometry Steve found the length to be 1.15 ft.
