.. some days me and my family would go to sleep without eating, since the government provides us with our food we can't go buy food elsewhere because all private owned businesses are banned
Well..pardon my English, but life in North Korea was terrible...
So..whats life like over in North Korea?
yeah i know, i'm sweating. But because the country only provided us with so little and old clothing and most of the time a shirt would cost alot because of how scarce it was. I would've loved to where jeans
yes! which i thought was dumb
Because of the strict laws, if someone were to ever be seen in jeans they would be punished.
I have a question that i had when i saw you, why are you dressed like that? it's literally 74 degrees
Really? just for wearing a pair of jeans??
Why didn't you?
I wish we had that over here, my Dad lost his job couple months ago and is unemployed so he helps my mom out with the restaurant now.
My Parent's own a pizzeria around our house which over the last years has become popular, they're thinking about opening up another one next year.
..Also the government provides everyone a with a job which my Dad didn't want to work at.
My Dad wanted to own a business just like this Cafe, but since all private businesses are banned he couldn't..
Since my country has both Economic Security & Equity, (in theory) the government helps provides us with free healthcare and education.
Well it would be nice but unfortunately the government doesn't really provide what they say, sometimes its just to a small amount of people or its poorly stable.
Really? well that is nice because over here you have to pay for your own healthcare and college.
that is not good, but at least you're now here and prices stay pretty low unlike how in your country they increase drastically.
I sort of in way understand where you're coming from, in this country we help each other out sometimes too but the only difference is that we have a huge social gap between the rich and poor which many times causes envy and dislike.
I am surely not going to miss my country but i really am gonna miss my friends and family, the community was never apart, we would often help each other out with money problems or just help in general.
