  • Mammals are warm-blooded, give birth to live young, produce milk, and have hair or fur.
  • Fish are cold-blooded, breathe with gills. They can be in the classes cartilaginous, bony, and jawless fish.
  • Birds are endothermic, they have feathers and a beak, air sacs, a feather covering, and they lay hard-shelled eggs. 
  • Reptiles are cold-blooded, have dry scaly skin, and they lay eggs. 
  • Amphibians are cold-blooded, they go through metamorphisis, they have gills and lungs, and they can live in water and on land. They also lay thousands of eggs in the water.
