7 days later all 300 spartans and there king fall to the persians but during the battle the athenians evacuated the city
the persians burn athens to the ground.
the athenian navy goes and attacks the persian navy and comes out victorious the athenian ships were smaller but more movable then the big persian ships
the persians are finally defeated and retreat with their king
the war made the athenians rebuild there city build and stronger then ever but the spartans and them took credit for wining the persian wars so they ended up having a rivalry .
