- Look for bodies of water, hills, or mountains.
- Survey the area by each person spreading out 20 to 10 meters
- Take notes, picture, flag artifacts found in the ares, map the spot of the site on GPS, and try to get as much information about the site .
- Test digs are digs throughout a specific area that gives the archaeologists view of where the best place is to dig.
- Magnetometers, ground-penetrating radar, and aerial photography.
- How is this land form formed, found, and how do we evaluate them for their significance?
