- After Louis kept talking about how he needed someone for this trip to the jungle, Jane instantly knew that that is what she wanted to do.
- To get a chance of a lifetime, Jane spoke up and said that she wanted the job when louis kept asking about it.

- Jane wanted to go study the chimpanzees but she stayed quiet about it for so long so she finally said to Louis that she wanted to be the one that goes on that trip.

- I learned that Jane is really into nature and the natural world. Another thing that I learned, is that Jane wanted the job to go study chimpanzees in the wild. A thing that is hard to believe is that she didn't jump at the chance to take the job at first it took Louis many times until she said something about it.
