Storyboard Text

  • No. Whats that?
  • Hey kids, you ever heard of the nitrogen cycle?
  • Ok. Why is it important?
  • The nitrogen cycle is a cycle that nitrogen is converted into multiple chemical forms.
  • There are 4 processes in the cycle. Nitrogen fixation which means to break apart the nitrogen molecule so that the atoms can combine with other atoms. Decay which means breaks the molecules in excretion and dead animals to ammonia. Nitrification means the ammonia is converted into nitrates. Denitrification means removing nitrogen from the atmosphere and pass it through ecosystems.
  • Thanks.
  • About 78 percent of the earth's atmosphere is made up of nitrogen. Also, nitrogen is an important part of all living things.
