Apportionment - Provides equally divided district lines for the HOR as well as the Senate. These district lines Are for voting purposes, based off population.
Elections - Elections take place every first Tuesday after the first Monday in November in even years. The judges term cannot exceed 6 years.
Corporations - When it comes to corporations, there are no acts for conferring corporate powers. However, laws can be passed to regulate the sale and conveyance of other personal property and the property of corporations are subject to taxation.
Ohio's livestock care and standards - The board establishes standards for governing the care and well-being of livestock and poultry in the state, while maintaining good care for the animals. The board works to secure bio security, disease prevention food safety practices, and the protection of local, affordable food supplies for consumers
Amendments- In order to pass an amendment, there needs to be a 2/3 majority vote from the legislative authority of the state. When it comes to office terms, the general assembly may extend the existing terms.
Financial and Taxation - To protect the people from over-taxing, the property taxes cannot exceed 1% of its true value and no poll taxes will be issued. Also, the states cannot collect more than 50% of the income which gives a brief control and limit that we use on our financial side of the state’s economy.
