  • At the beginning of Holes, Stanley is arrested because he is accuse of stealing a famous baseball play named  Clyde Livingston (sweet feet). He was sent to camp Green lake to make him a good boy. The camp is to make bad boys into good boys. Stanley  believes he has bad luck because of his dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-grandfather.
  • FALLING ACTION
  • In the begging of the rising action, Stanley digs his first hole and he gets blisters on his hands. While he is digging holes he finds a golden tube that say K.B which stands for Kate Barlow. Stanley gives the lipstick tube to X-ray because he promised he would give him what ever he found next. The next day Mr. sir came with the water truck and one of the boys deices to steel Mr.sir sunflower seeds  right when he was driving away he turns around and one of the boys throw the seed where Stanley was at and he got in trouble with Mr.sir. Stanley is teaching zero how to read and write one of the boys makes fun of Stanley the boy  get in a fight and zero hits Mr. Pendansik with a shovel and ran away.  Stanley steels the water truck the next day  but crashes it in a hole. He is walking and he is a boat that says Marry Lou which is the name as Sam´s  donkey. He finds zero under the boat and they walk towards a mountain that looks like gods thumb. 
  • Resolution 
  • Climax, While they where climbing the mountain zero got hurt and Stanley had to carry zero up the mountain. He looked around the mountain and found onions like the ones Sam sold in his onion stand. He also found water on the mountain that Sam went to collect his sweet onions.

  • Falling action, Stanley and zero decide to go back to Camp green lake because Stanley thinks their is treasure in the hole he found the golden lipstick cap  that belonged to kissing Kate Borrow. When they find the suitcase the warden, Mr, sir, and Mr, Pendensk
