Storyboard Text

  • The emperor Nero took great interest in the arts of sport, poetry and philosophy, and wanted to participate in the Greek Olympics. The year is 67 A.D.
  • You, go find out when the national olympics take place, now!
  • Go on then, you're not payed to do nothing!
  • I will do so promptly, my lord Nero.
  • Nero was often described as a very nice, and patient man, especially towards his loyal servants and guards.
  • Be back within the hour, or you know what happens!
  • Nero was lying down, eating expensive food and enjoying the delight of these beautiful women, when the man returned.
  • I am very sorry My Lord Nero for waisting your time, the Olympics are in a month.
  • Well what is it? I have already wasted enough of my time waiting on you! You're lucky I'm in a good mood.
  • The judges, fearing what Nero might do to them if they didn't make him win, discussed the matter. These kind of things still happen in society today, but usually in a much more subtle manner...
  • Nero travelled to Olympia together with his 12 horses, his beloved chariot, the Royal Guard and of course, women.
  • I can't stand this boat for one more minute!
  • After 11 days of travelling, Nero finally reached the city of Olypia
  • At last!
