  • Oooooo Chicken. Yum.
  • I'm gonna barf
  • I shouldn't have eaten that chicken, oh no.
  • One week later.....
  • Wow, I finally don't feel sick anymore.
  • The microorganism Campylobacter jejuni causes campylobacter infection.  It is caused when raw/uncooked poultry is consumed. It can also be linked to unpasteurized milk and uncooked beef.
  • Who needs oxygen to grow anyway?
  • Don't you just love this warm weather?
  • When chicken that contains campylobacter is consumed it can make you sick. Some symptoms would include: diarrhea, vomiting, cramps, bloating, fever
  • I'm for sure going to make sure my chicken gets cooked properly
  • Symptoms usually last about one week.
  • Yay, yummy chicken!!
  • In order for campylobactor to grow it requires little oxygen, warm tempuratures, and it uses binary fission to reproduce.
  • Working on my binary fission(reproducing)
  • It order to avoid camplobactor, make sure to fully cook your meat, keep raw meat away from other foods, and do not drink unpasterized milk.
  • Once chicken is properly cooked, you can enjoy it without getting a pathogen.
