And with a shift of his hand, the arrow flew and struck all three straight through their temples. They fell over, cold. and dead. Alad flew to his knees "Why would you do this?! I paid your ransom!" Alad yelled, tears flowing like a river.
Alad stood up, filled with rage, but the figure disappeared without a trace before Alad could do anything. Alad yelled into the sky, the ceiling actually, "I shall not forget this, but embrace it with the entire kings guard at your doorstep!"
a week had past and Alad had heard nothing from the kings guard. and one day, while lazily daunting around his house, alad heard a voice. "You are filled with rage I see" the voice called out with an echo. "allow me to help you with that!" the voice said excitedly. and Alad realized we started smoldering.
"Hello Alad!" said this god-like man. in fact he was actually a god but Alad doesn't know this yet. "who are you? and how did you make me like this?" alad asked. "a simple hello Ares would have done just fine Mr. Regor." this is when alad realizes that he is dealing with a god. "come, take a walk with me" Ares motioned to the door
alad had to duck under the door he could once comfortably stride under. "Answer my question, why do this?" Alad said in a stern voice. "its simple, you want revenge on Hunhow, and the kings army is no use. why not take it into your own hands?" as they walked along Ares came to a quick halt.
Alad notified Ares about the scene change. "oh i know, i mean to take us here." three weapons seemed to float in front of Alad and Ares. "choose one, that will be your mastered fighting weapon." alad grabbed the pike and it instantly burst into flames. Alad jumped but didn't feel any burning on his skin
