- Reese Anderson is quite the troublemaker. He is currently serving time at Progress, a rehabilitation center for stealing and fighting.
- Here, he meets a teen named Toon. Toon is always convincing him to do bad things. He's the only one to talk to, so he is out of luck.
- He also meets a man named Mr. Hooft. Mr. Hooft teaches Reese many life lessons.
- Reese is framed by a gang of teens. They said he gave them prescription pads, which led to the death of a man who bought drugs from them because he overdosed.
- They go to court and it's revealed that Reese is not guilty. He is let off the hook and his time with Progress is reduced from his good cooperation and honesty.
- With everything that happened and his knowledge from Mr. Hooft, his behavior gets back on track and he becomes a good kid. Nothing bad has happened since getting out of Progress.
