  • The clergy and the nobles were less than half the population but they got the same vote as the third estate.

  • Another cause of the French Revolution was the Seven years war which put France into a financial crisis.
  • We are British soldiers and we are winning the war!
  • Mid 1700's while king Louis XV was in power.
  • I should raise the cost of bread.
  • When the farmers were having a rough wheat season the price of read was raised which led to one of the main events during the French Revolution.

  • The tennis court oath came to be when the third estate got together and decided they were now the National Assembly. They were led by a man named Honore Gabriel Riqueti.
  • The Reign of Terror lasted months and this is when most of the executions were held. King Louis XIV and Marie Antoinette died during this time.
  • September 5th, 1793 - July 28th, 1794
  • This is the women's march on the palace of Versailles.
  • We want bread!
  • They marched in hopes of getting bread that they could not afford to buy.
