Gwen wakes up and is getting ready for school. Already she is nervous for the day to carry on. After this scene, several photos of various asymmetrical objects are flashed before the screen.
These are your options.
After the last shot, the screen flashes to Gwen rinsing her face with water and breathing hard. The shot cuts to the various forms of symmetry Gwen has created throughout her home and her life. Gwen begins to talk to herself repeating the same phrase.
I'm not sure if I'm ready...
Already distressed as she walks to school through the chaos of her street, someone stops and zips Gwen's bag shut ruining her symmetry. Upset, Gwen's symptoms are amplified and Gwen falls to the ground to try and fix it. However, her emotions got the best of her and she fell into a panic attack. This scene displays a lot of the symptoms caused by asymmetriphobia.
This is the start of something new.
Gwen's therapist begins to tell her of her options for her phobia. However, the noise is slightly muffled as all Gwen and the camera focus on is the asymmetrical objects in the room. As the man says her name, Gwen snaps back into it and you can hear him clearly. The therapist gives Gwen a note saying her options for treatment. Gwen puts the note in her pocket and walks out of the office.
In this scene, Gwen is looking at her backpack which is zipped symmetrically. We only see Gwen's face for a time until we hear a zipping noise. Gwen has shut her backpack making it asymmetrical making the start of her taking control of her phobia.
In the final scene, we see Gwen walking away with her newly re-zipped backpack. As she walks down the streets the credits roll signaling the end of the video.
